Austria's major attractions include Hofburg Palace, Vienna State Opera, and St. Stephen's Cathedral. Many people from around Europe and the world come to enjoy the Vienna State Opera. Several prominent figures from the Prime Minister to the royal family. St Stephen's Cathedral is a place of worship for many, but also a place for many architects and art lovers to enjoy the intriguing designs along the walls and inside. The Hofburg Palace is similar in many ways to the whitehouse of the United States because it is the capital city of Austria as well as the President occasionally does work in there. Belgium
Belgium's major attractions include Atomium, Royal Museum of Fine Arts of Belgium, and Musical Instrument Museum. The Atomium is a steel statue of an Atom that was made for the World Fair in Brussels. Brussels also happens to be the epicenter of Belgium. The Royal Museum of Fine Arts of Belgium is a museum with works of art dating from the 15th century to the 21st century. This large span of time frames intrigues guest to come and visit. The Musical Instrument Museum is a large collection of 8,000 instruments from around the world, this includes classical instruments, makeshift instruments, as well as modern instruments. France
France's attractions include Eiffel Tower, Palace of Versailles, and the Lourve. The Eiffel Tower is an iconic connotation of what most expect to see in France, and specifically in it's capital city, Paris. The Eiffel Tower is 324m high. The Palace of Versailles is the palace that Louis XIV lived in from time to time. It was said to have everything from golden walls to golden bedpost. The Lourve is the largest museum in the world. It holds many world renowned pieces of art. This museum also happens to be in the capital city, Paris. Germany
Germany's attractions include Neuschwanstein Castle, Berlin Wall (Preserved Parts), and Reichstag building. Neuschwanstein Castle often described as a fairytale castle because it was built on a hill and resembles a cartoon castle. The castle was built in the 1800's in a forest near a small village. The preserved parts of the Berlin Wall are used as an open memorial to the division of west and east Germany. The two were separated for much of the cold war and the wall was finally brought down in 1989 to finally unite Germany. The Reichstag building is not only an inspiring piece of architecture but the current holder of parliament. It is known for it's glass dome over seeing much of parliaments meeting area. Liechtenstein
Liechtenstein's major attractions include Vaduz Castle, Vaduz Cathedral, and Drei Schwestern. The Vaduz Castle is the residence of the Prince of Liechtenstein. The Castle is also in the capital of Liechtenstein. The Vaduz Cathedral opened it's doors in 1874. It obtained Cathedral status in 1997. Drei Schwestern is a common area for adventurers to take local guides to help them navigate the mountains on a hike. The elevation of Drei Schwestern is 6,736. LuxembourgLuxembourg's major attractions are the Notre Dame Cathedral, and the Gelle Fra monument. The Notre Dame Cathedral began as a Jesuit church. The cathedral is gothic architecture but includes many Renaissance elements. The Gelle Fra monument is a tall monument with a statue at the top of the Goddess Nike. The monument opened in 1923.
SwitzerlandMajor attractions in Switzerland include the Swiss Alps and Rhine Falls. The Swiss Alps are a mountain range apart of the Alpine Mountains. Many people go there to hike and ski. The Rhine Falls is a waterfall in Switzerland. It is the largest waterfall in Europe.
MonacoA major attraction in Monaco is the Monte Carlo Casino. The casino opened in 1863. It has many restaurants and bars inside along with a resort.
NetherlandsMajor attractions in the Netherlands include the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam and the Anne Frank House. The Rijksmuseum is an art museum with many famous paintings from artists like Rembrandt. The Anne Frank House is the house where a teenage World War II diarist grew up and documented her life as a Jewish girl.
